Alliance Data Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: ADS) will pay a premium of approximately $2.3 billion to acquire Conversant Inc. (Nasdaq: CNVR). Shares of Alliance Data leaped $5.04 to close at $257.91 while Conversant stock jumped $8.09 to close at $34.80.
